“Collaboration in Service” Symposium with a European focus on 23 November 2026 at the Rotterdam Cruise Terminal
The cruise industry brings together a wide range of partners from – maritime, nautical, tourism, environmental, shipbuilding, wharfs, food & beverage to even urban development – all due with an increasingly strong European focus. Government bodies and knowledge institutions also play an important role hereto.
Innovation and cooperation are central, following the innovative triple helix model, in which government, the business community (the market) and knowledge institutions work together. At a time when resilience and personal contact increasingly seems to need to take centre stage, Cruise Port Rotterdam aims to emphasize on what is already happening and what is coming, framed within a European scope.
The power of collaboration, what it already delivers, and how we can strengthen it further within the Triple Helix model, will be the guiding principle. Prominent speakers from the cruise industry, the wider business community and the political sphere are expected.
Cruise Port Rotterdam takes the plunge and hopes others will follow suit; the ambition is to organise this symposium every two years. If you are interested and committed to strong cooperation within the cruise industry, please let us know. office@cruise.rotterdam.nl
